Update: It's been nearly 1 1/2 yrs since I posted this. Over the next few months our neighbor became more and more aggressive. We sought God's wisdom in how to handle this volatile and even dangerous situation.
In the end we were able to get out of our lease (only God!), find a house to buy (only God again), live with friends for a month during renovation of said house, and then move in to a peaceful, wonderful neighborhood.
We still miss our old house and neighborhood and all the relationships we had established, but we do not miss our very unpredictable and angry neighbor!
